Okay, so like I told you before, this is a new account of mine since I lost my old account, so I followed a bunch of random people to build it again.

For some reason, you came up in my suggestions and I will be completely honest with you, I requested you because I found you handsome and I really like your hair. And obviously, because I saw your name and that you are Muslim, I told myself, "why not."

After you texted me asking if I am a family member, I found it funny how you were the one to text me first. Then once we started talking... I don't know... we seem to get along so well and our conversations always flow.

We joke around so much, we laugh at the same things... the vibes are just really good, you know? Also because we are the perfect age for each other...

When I first sent my pictures and you complimented me, it gave me butterflies. Even though throughout the day I am mostly offline due to family, I will be honest with you, you have been on my mind quite a bit.

    1. Cute coughs

    2. I feel like you already know the answer to your own question 😂... just re-listen to these voice notes! It's clear which option you should focus on. Definitely company B, Omair. You should do something that aligns more with your values and something you are passionate about.

You say that people at company B are very smart and all that, but I have no doubt you would fit right in. Have faith in yourself. Sure, it might take more work, but I will always support you chasing what is best for you, no matter how hard it is, because I know you can achieve anything you put your mind to.

It is clear your heart is leaning toward company B. Even if you chose company A, you would always think about what could have been with company B and have regrets. But if you go for company B, you will never have those "what if" thoughts.

This is what I am so scared of. The thing is, I have a good relationship with my dad and I truly believe that if he sees I really like you, and knows I will be heartbroken if I lose you, he would at least give you a chance.

I know he would not say no for no reason. But I will be honest with you, I do not have it in me to go against my father. I know it sounds sad, but no way could I do that to him, especially after everything he has done for me.

But when he sees that you are Muslim, ambitious, have a degree, and sees your character, I have a good feeling he will not be too hard to convince.

I am just scared about eventually having to bring it up to him because, you know, I do not want him to think poorly of me. Especially because it is online... he will be shocked at first.

Nooo, you do not have to, it's okay, I promise. Obviously, if I felt like a girl liked you then I would be annoyed, or if I felt like you liked someone else. But I know you do not have feelings for them, so it does not bother me at all.

I trust you and there is nothing I have seen to make me question you, so I do not have a problem.

You are so sweet, Omair. It is so thoughtful of you to ask me that before I could even say anything about it.

And by the way, I am warning you... sometimes I am a bit sensitive, so I feel really good knowing you are so considerate of my feelings. I could not be more grateful 💕💕

Growing up, I did not have many friends at school because in real life I am shy and introverted, but there were two girls who were my neighbors and we would play outside every day until they moved when we were around 12.

In high school, I made like five friends, but drama happened and I do not talk to four out of five of them anymore. In university, I made three friends in first year who I am still close to.

Honestly, I just enjoy my own company and my family, and I do not need a lot of friends to keep me happy. I only need a few real friends who I know I can trust. Growing up, I was also very close with my sisters, so that helped a lot.

I used to think I would be in an arranged marriage, and then once I got married and it was time to sleep in the same bed, I would be coy and say, "oh aap sojayein bed par, main couch par sojaunga."

And she would be like, "acha theek hai," and then later she would feel bad and say, "nahi aap aajayein bed par, I won't mind." Then we would sleep awkwardly, and eventually be comfortable with each other.

I had that whole scene replayed in my dream this morning when I napped for 5 minutes after getting up.

Baby, you know what, Michael Jordan was so good that players on opposite teams made up special "Jordan rules" on top of standard basketball rules to defend specifically against him.

Like the rule that if Michael jumped and while he was in the air everyone had to get out of the way, otherwise he would crush anyone in his path, so everyone on the other team would come together to stop him from ever taking a jump 🙆‍♂️ (edited)

Haan, some random Indian guy made a contribution to the main code repository that was full of work obviously done by ChatGPT 😭 and the CTO called him out by saying:

"Hey xyz, we have access to the same AIs that you have, and if we wanted them to write our code we would do that. Please make sure any work you contribute is original and authentic. I'm closing this request and flagging you from contributing in the future."

Not one thing in particular, but he was really talking about listening to Islamic scholars and how we should listen to them.

And not gonna lie, I sometimes do not trust what scholars say because one scholar makes a bold claim with proof, and then the next day another scholar makes the opposite claim, also with proof.

And I am like, who should I even believe? So sometimes I choose to believe neither.
